Peru

Maranatha’s first major effort in Peru took place from 2004-2006, during which volunteers and crews built nearly 100 churches and multiple schools. When those projects proved to be successful in helping to grow Adventist membership countrywide, Seventh-day Adventist leadership in Peru asked Maranatha to return for another effort. In 2019, Maranatha started a second major effort to build more places of worship, as well as a school campus. This initial effort is still ongoing with projects having been completed, in progress, or launching around Lima, Juliaca, Puno, and Pucallpa.
